TRANSPORT™ provides a daemon to provide a background process similar to that provided by the MPE batch environment.

A job is streamed with the standard STREAM command to the daemon which executes it based on the conditions (e.g., JOBLIMIT, scheduling options, INPRI, etc.) The $STDLIST is sent to the printer specified by OUTCLASS statement.

Basic IF/ELSE/ENDIF is supported on JCW and VAR's as well as STDIN/STDLIST redirection on RUN commands.

Extentions have been provided to match job queues with nice values to accomodate those who wish to tune the batch environment.
